Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PocketFront ("PocketFront", "we", "us"), a platform that lets Shopify merchants publish their products to a branded mobile app and manage it as a Shopify sales channel. By installing or using PocketFront on your Shopify store, you ("merchant", "you") agree to these Terms.
1. The service
PocketFront connects to your Shopify store as a sales channel and mobile app builder. It syncs the products you publish to the PocketFront channel, lets you configure your mobile app's appearance and content, and delivers that app to your shoppers. All checkout and payment processing happens through Shopify's native checkout — PocketFront does not process payments or act as a merchant of record.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the products, content, pricing, and policies you publish through the app.
- You must comply with Shopify's terms and with all laws that apply to your store and customers.
- You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you configure in PocketFront.
3. Fees and billing
PocketFront is billed through Shopify's billing system. Your plan may include a recurring subscription fee and a usage fee of 1% of the value of orders placed through the mobile app. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. If an order that generated a usage fee is later cancelled, we issue a corresponding credit. Fees are described in the app at the time you select a plan and may change with notice.
4. Data and Shopify
PocketFront accesses your store data only through the permissions (scopes) you grant on install, and uses it to operate the sales channel, the mobile app, billing, and analytics. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Disconnection and termination
You can disconnect the PocketFront sales channel or uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin, without contacting us. On uninstall, your products stop appearing in the mobile app, recurring billing stops, and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Shopify's data-retention requirements.
6. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for PocketFront in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
